The lifetime of the four AAA batteries included in the delivery is at least 12 months.
If the batteries need to be replaced, proceed as follows:
- Detach the Keypad from the mounting plate. To do this, simply hold it by the side edges of the housing and slide it upwards. Then pull the Keypad towards you to remove it.
- At the bottom of the Keypad's back you can find the release latch for opening the battery compartment. Place your finger on it and pull the cover towards you.
- Slide the cover downwards to open the battery compartment.
- Now replace the empty batteries with new ones. Make sure to match the polarity marked on the back of your Keypad.
