Mediola is a uniquely flexible home control and automation system. With the mediola software, the apps and the gateway you can control, manage and automate your entire home automation across brands via smartphone, tablet or computer. To use the Nuki Smart Lock with mediola, you can either use the Nuki Cloud connection or connect your smart door lock locally via NEO Plugin.

With the mediola AIO GATEWAYs of the current V6 series, which – depending on the model – support Homematic IP, 433Mhz, 868Mhz, EnOcean, Z-Wave, infrared and WLAN, you can combine your Nuki Smart Lock with even more different Smart Home devices and operate and automate them via a single, comprehensive control app. This way you can implement many exciting use cases around your Nuki Smart Lock.

Setup

For the local connection to the AIO CREATOR NEO you need the plugin Nuki Bridge.

  1. Open the main menu in your Nuki app. There you will find the item “Manage my devices”. Select the Bridge and follow the instructions in the Nuki app to enter the Bridge management. Once the Bridge has been found by the app, click on the Bridge icon. Note down the IP address and the token, which you can find on the next page. Click twice on the “Done” icon at the top right to exit the Bridge management. Now you should be in the main menu of your Nuki app. As long as you are in the menu item “Manage Bridge”, your Bridge is in maintenance mode and cannot be integrated into NEO. Also make sure that your Nuki Bridge is no longer blinking before you create it in CREATOR.
  2. Now open the Device Manager in AIO CREATOR NEO and click on “New Gateway” in the Gateways tab.
  3. Enter a name for your Nuki Bridge and select the Nuki Bridge under Type. Then enter the IP address and the token you wrote down before and click on save.
  4. Afterwards you can import the Nuki Smart Lock from the Bridge via the tab “Import devices”.

For the connection via the cloud, you need mediola Cloud Services:

  1. Open the Device Manager and go to the tab “Cloud Systems”.
  2. Log in with your mediola account.
  3. Select Nuki from the list.
  4. Log in with the Nuki access data.
  5. Import the Smart Lock via “Device Import”.
