Your Smart Lock (4th Generation) supports new features:
- From now on, you can activate Remote Access via Thread. You can now control your Nuki devices from afar without needing the Nuki Bridge or the built-in Wi-Fi module. This new Smart Home standard is more stable and requires less energy than Wi-Fi.
- The new Matter 1.2 standard distinguishes between the actions "Open door" and "Unlock". Matter 1.2 is supported starting from firmware version 4.2.6 of your Nuki Smart Lock (4th generation).
Please note: This new feature is currently only available with Home Assistant as the Matter Hub.
