Smart Notifications are push notifications from Nuki. You receive these notifications when you approach or leave your home. Simply tap on the locking action in the notification to lock or unlock your Smart Lock, Smart Door or Opener. You do not even have to open the Nuki App.
Choose between "Smart Notifications" and "Smart Warnings":
- With Smart Notifications you get a push notification on your smartphone when you get close to your door. With an action button you can unlock the door quickly.
- The Smart Warnings will notify you when you leave your home and it is still unlocked. You can lock the door directly with the action button.
Smart Warnings are available for your Smart Lock and the Smart Door.
Smart Notifications are a perfect alternative to Auto Unlock: In contrast to Auto Unlock, your door is not unlocked or opened when you approach your home. Nuki only sends you the notification. You control when to open or unlock your door via the notification which gives you even more security.
How to activate smart notifications? Simply tap on your Nuki device and enter the settings. Then select “Smart Notifications”.
Smart Notifications and Smart Warnings will only work if you enable location services and notifications for the Nuki App. You also need online access to your Nuki device.
