The Keypad is designed for DIY installation. Wires or cables do not have to be connected during installation because batteries power the Keypad. Installation and setup can be done in just a few minutes using screws or an adhesive plate.
Note:
Please note that the Keypad must be within Bluetooth range of the smart access solution when installing your Keypad.
Installation with adhesive plate
- Clean the door frame until it is free of dirt and grease.
- Remove the adhesive cover from the back of the Keypad.
- Fix the Keypad to the desired position on the door frame.
- Open the Nuki app on your smartphone and open the menu (top left). Now select ”Manage my devices” and ”Keypad”. The app will guide you through the setup.
Installation with screws
- The backplate of the Keypad has two mounting holes. Use two anchors and two screws (M 3.5 x 30mm; not included) to attach it to the house wall.
- Mount the backplate to the house wall using the screws.
- Attach your Keypad to the backplate.
- Open the Nuki app on your smartphone and open the menu (top left). Now select ”Manage my devices” and ”Keypad”. The app will guide you through the setup.
