To use the Opener without a Bridge, you need a stable Bluetooth connection between your smartphone and the Opener. The Opener cannot be connected to a Smart Lock to use its remote access.
In most apartment buildings, the distance between the apartment and the front door is too great, making the Bluetooth connection unstable. Therefore, we recommend connecting the Opener to your Wi-Fi via the Bridge. This way, you will always have access to your main entrance door and can open it remotely.
