A high number of door sensor state changes impacts battery life.
Under certain circumstances, the door sensor can also have a negative impact on the battery consumption. This is the case if the door sensor frequently changes between the "open" and "closed" statuses.
In the course of each status change, the Smart Lock is woken up from sleep mode to display the status correctly and, if necessary, also synchronize it via your Nuki Bridge to the Nuki Web. In sleep mode the Smart Lock consumes much less power.
It is therefore worth taking a closer look at the proper functioning of the door sensor in case of increased battery consumption.
