A high number of Bluetooth commands impacts battery life.
If the status of your Smart Lock is frequently queried via Bluetooth or via integrations, this increases the battery consumption of the Smart Lock. Smart home automatization in particular can be associated with an increased number of status queries and thus have a drastic effect on power consumption. In the course of each status query, the Smart Lock is woken up from the sleep mode, which requires additional power and reduces battery life. In idle mode, the Smart Lock requires significantly less power.
