Protect your Nuki app against unauthorized access
To additionally protect the Nuki app it is possible to use the authentication via your smartphone. This means that you can additionally secure the opening of the Nuki app with biometric authentication, such as Touch ID (fingerprint) and Face ID, or with a code. This way you can make sure that the Nuki app can only be opened by authorised persons. If you want to use this feature, you can easily activate it in the menu of your Nuki app under "App Settings" > "Security" > "Authentication".
Authentication information always remains on your device. Authentication codes, TouchID or FaceID are therefore never saved by us in a cloud, but are stored exclusively on your device.
